Around Classic is a Festival that contributes to the dissemination of classical music in all its forms, uniting the past and the modern through music and establishing connections between people with common interests.
Vision
Around Classic will be a high-quality cultural space where professional Portuguese and foreign musicians and music students will perform for the public. It aims to be a space for the exchange of experiences, working to be internationally recognized as a major classical music event in Portugal, through partnerships with public and private entities, associations, schools and individuals, always with the aim of promoting classical music in its various forms.

A festival for everyone that preserves secular culture, working on continuous improvement in search of excellence. We value the importance of teaching music in schools, Social Inclusion and Sustainability. We value hospitality and work with respect for artists, teams and audiences.

Parque Mayer is located in one of the city’s most exclusive areas. Formerly Passeio Público, Avenida da Liberdade is a hub of fashion and contemporaneity, where luxury and cosmopolitanism combine with entertainment and excellent gastronomy. This is why Around Classic will take place in this area and this is a unique opportunity for some of Lisbon’s entertainment venues, such as Cineteatro Capitólio, Teatro Variedades and Cinema São Jorge, to join forces with classical music, curated by connoisseurs and lovers of classical music and performed by some of the most talented artists, ensuring a line-up of the highest quality.
